As Chief Executive Officer, Josh is responsible for driving Utilidata’s strategy, growth, and advancement. He is an expert on the intersection of technology and public policy and strives to build partnerships that ensure innovative solutions can succeed at scale. Prior to joining the company in 2014, Josh held senior roles at Fortress Investment Group, the Office of the Rhode Island General Treasurer, and on national political campaigns. He is a graduate of Northeastern University, and lives with his wife, three kids and dog outside Providence, RI.

As Chief Technology Officer, Marissa is responsible for the company’s technology research, product development, deployment, and engineering teams. She is an expert in developing products that change the way the consumers and utility executives think about procuring, dispatching, and pricing distributed energy resources. Marissa joined Utilidata in 2018, bringing more than 15 years of expertise in energy systems and grid optimization, having previously overseen product development for Tendril and managed grid modernization research at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Marissa is a graduate of Colorado College with a PhD in Applied Physics from Harvard University and serves on the board of Grid Forward. She lives with her family in Golden, Colorado where she is a Colorado Governor's Fellow.

As Chief Operating Officer, Jess is responsible for deployment, sales, market development, policy, and the development and execution of Utilidata’s growth strategy. He is an expert on aligning commercial and regulatory outcomes to drive meaningful change. Jess joined Utilidata in 2018, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in energy policy, strategy, business development and operations. Prior to joining Utilidata, Jess led the product team for Tendril; was responsible for growing the clean energy business at PSEG, New Jersey’s largest utility; and held senior policymaking positions in the New Jersey Governor’s office and Board of Public Utilities. Jess is a graduate of Cornell University, with a Master’s in Public Affairs from Princeton. He lives in Montclair, New Jersey with his wife and three kids.

As Chief Experience Officer, Theresa is responsible for leading cross-functional efforts to deliver a positive and differentiated brand experience for internal and external audiences and managing the communications, HR, and finance teams. She is an expert in helping companies and organizations identify the best ways to engage with stakeholders and build and protect their reputations. She began working with Utilidata in 2014 as a consultant and joined the company full-time in 2020. Theresa was previously a Vice President of Communications at Global Strategy Group where she advised a broad range of clients. She started her career at Eversource Energy where she was a communications and media relations specialist supporting the company's largest subsidiary, Connecticut Light & Power. A graduate of Quinnipiac University with a double major in public relations and sociology, Theresa also earned her Juris Doctorate with honors from Quinnipiac's School of Law and has been admitted to the Connecticut bar. She now lives in Miami, Florida with her husband and puppy.
